1. Who we are

LocalFor.Me is the trading name of LocalFor.Me Ltd, a company incorporated in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data described in this policy. Our registered address and ICO registration number will be confirmed before launch.

2. Personal data we collect

• Account data — email, display name, phone, hashed password.
• Address data — postcode and optional saved addresses, geocoded for proximity search.
• Engagement data — favourites, view events, search queries.
• Commerce data — order history, shipping address, refund records. Card details are processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
• Authentication via third parties (Google, Apple, Facebook) — we receive the email associated with the social account, and only that.

3. How we use it

To run the service: searching businesses near you, sending order confirmations, handling refunds, complying with anti-fraud and KYC obligations. We never sell personal data.

4. Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting hello@localfor.me. Account deletion can also be triggered from your account settings. We will respond within the statutory window.
