Terms of service

1. Acceptance

By using LocalFor.Me you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the service.

2. Consumer accounts

Consumer accounts are free. You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for activity on your account.

3. Business accounts

Businesses are vetted before listings go live. You confirm that you have authority to act for the business you apply with, and that the information you submit is accurate. We may suspend or remove listings at our discretion for breach of these terms, fraud, or repeated complaints.

4. Payments

Storefront payments are processed by Stripe Connect. The merchant is the seller of record. LocalFor.Me Ltd retains a platform fee on each storefront sale (currently 2% of subtotal, plus Stripe's standard processing fee). Refunds are at the merchant's discretion within statutory consumer-protection rules.

5. Acceptable use

No illegal goods, no harassment, no scraping, no automated mass-account creation. We may rate-limit or block traffic that risks the integrity of the service.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We do our best to keep it running but make no specific uptime guarantees outside of any explicit SLA.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Isle of Man consumer-rights law applies where the consumer is resident in IM and statute requires.
